Central Care Mission isÂ committed to building a stable future for the organization. We see many paths forward -- all equally valid and all possible.Â 2016 has beenÂ a year of stabilization. Last year we grew 40%. This year we have hired three staff members and six more support staff to support the demands of growth.
Going into 2017, we are focused on goals which help us to increase our capacity.Â Our first goal is to build a multi-purpose facility on site, to function as a cafeteria, a kitchen and pantry, offices, and classrooms. This would allow us to increase our capacity by 33 people.Â As properties become available in the surrounding area, we hope to purchase those properties in preparation for further growth and expand our ministry by developing multi-site facilities using our scalable business model.
Central Care Mission promotes ethical guidelines and pursues the continuation of financial sustainability. WeÂ aim to modelÂ the best practices of financial transparency. As a member of GuideStar.org and a registrant of the Florida Department of Agriculture & Consumer Services, we provide public access to information related to the organization, including IRS Form 990.
The Boardâ€™s Finance Committee provides oversight of the finances and reviews all proposed budgetsÂ for approval by the Board of Directors, including compensation for the President/CEO andÂ all employees.Â Policies and procedures are in place which provides for internal controls to ensure accountability as well as approval of budgeted and reasonable expenditures.Â Central Care Missionâ€™s marketing and solicitation material is clear and truthful in communication with its donors.
