Our program builds up five core areas—Spirituality, Vocation, Emotional Health, Finances, and Physical Wellness—guided by a Christian worldview that emphasizes purposeful growth and resilience.

Our program builds up five core areas—Spirituality, Vocation, Emotional Health, Finances, and Physical Wellness—guided by a Christian worldview that emphasizes purposeful growth and resilience.

  • Spiritual Growth through consistent meditation and prayer, reading the Bible, attending church, journaling and volunteering. 
  • Educational Help With four 1-hour classes per week for resume writing, job certifications, and life skills training.  Graduates of our program are given the opportunity to pursue college credits, courses and degrees through our partnership with Valencia College.
  • Emotional Health with one-on-one conversations and group discussions to learn an understanding of mental and emotional health, how to restore relationships through forgiveness, anger management, and creating and respecting boundaries
  • Financial Planning for understanding credit,  creating a realistic budget, opening a checking and savings account and learning how to manage mortgages, loans & rental agreements.
  • Physical Health with three 30 minute work-outs per week, including weight lifting, team sports like basketball, running or fast walking, and bike riding.

  • We start with Discovery – a deep dive into understanding dependence.
  • Next up is Transformation, where we learn to balance self-reliance and community.
  • Freedom follows, teaching us to thrive with the support of others.
  • Finally, Independence celebrates the joy of standing on our own two feet, but never alone.

Our team of experienced peers provides compassionate guidance and consistent support, fostering a safe and supportive environment for emotional growth. Through regular check-ins and group conversations, clients have opportunities to share, connect, and develop resilience.

  • Case manager Seth Mason oversees the program, tracking client progress and coordinating resources as needed. For clients requiring psychiatric or psychological support, we work with trusted partner agencies. At Central Care Mission, we recognize that some individuals may benefit from prescription medications, and we assist clients in accessing the support they need when recommended by healthcare professionals.

  • Sobriety means living free from the shackles of addictive substances.
  • Employment involves securing a stable full-time job with a promising future.
  • Reliable Transportation Reliable Transportation whether a motorbike, bicycle, car, or public transit pass—secured in one’s own name, based on what is financially and legally achievable.
  • Secure Housing to call one’s own in his name, whether rented, leased or owned.
  • Restored Bonds by rebuilding relationships with those willing to meet them halfway, while avoiding toxic connections.
  • Community Engagement by being an active part of a positive and supportive religious community that serves as a safety net and holds its members accountable.

After we look at your application, you will have an in-person interview
here at Central Care Mission.

Interviews happen Monday to Thursday, between Noon and 4 PM.

When you come, bring your ID and personal things:

  • clothes for every day and work boots
  • socks and underwear
  • personal care items and any medicine you need


If you are accepted, the program starts right after your interview.
