Volunteer
Located in the heart of Washington Shores, Central Care Mission is a men’s residential facility. To protect our community and clients, we carefully monitor our volunteer opportunities to protect everyone.
Volunteer
Central Care Mission often needs skilled volunteers willing to organize, paint, clean-up and tackle repair projects. Our current projects include painting and small indoor repairs. Please contact our offices if you are interested in helping us keep our facility look its best! admin@centralcaremission.com
Provide a Meal
We have a full-time support staff member who serves at Kitchen Manager at Central Care Mission. He prepares meals for up to 40 men daily including bag lunches to take to work. A homemade meal delivered by volunteers is a welcome site. Meals should be prepared in advance and brought to campus in disposable containers. We are able to reheat meals as needed. Suggestions include healthy meals of fruits, vegetables and lean meats. Of course, everyone enjoys a good pasta dish every now and then. Dessert is not necessary but always a welcome sight! Please email us admin@centralcaremission.com.
Donate Items for Clients
Many of our clients come to us with little or no possessions to their name. The support of our community in keeping a well stocked supply closet is vital. Linens, clothing, toiletries and work boots are some of the most common items on our wish list. The items we can accept our located on our Amazon link and can be mailed directly to our offices.
Mentor
Our Mentorship Program allows for men in the community to walk alongside those in the process of transforming their lives. We are unable to allow women or minors to participate in this volunteer aspect. Background checks are completed for all mentors in the program. You can find out more about our Mentor Program here.
